We remove the existing roofing completely rather than installing over it, since layering over an old roof traps moisture and hides deck damage. Any rotted or damaged sheathing found underneath gets replaced before installation starts.

Roof Replacement FAQ

Most residential replacements run $8,000 to $20,000. The biggest factors that move that number are how many layers of old roofing have to come off, your roof’s pitch, and whether any decking needs to be replaced underneath — any one of those can swing a quote significantly.

Asphalt shingles are the most affordable option, metal costs more upfront but lasts significantly longer, and cedar or luxury shingle land in between. The only way to get a real number is a free on-site inspection.

Most Treasure Valley homes are done in one to two days. Larger homes, steep pitches, or complex rooflines can push that to three. Weather is the main variable, and we’ll communicate early if the forecast forces a reschedule.
